Dr. S.R. Reddy received a Ph.D. from IITM in 2010. In 2010, he joined VIT Vellore, India, assistant professor @ Department of Chemistry, where he currently works as a professor and involved in both teaching and research. Received his PDF experience from NTNU, Taiwan (2018). He supervised 8 Ph.D. and guided 25 PG students for their dissertation works and completed 2 externally funded projects (SERB). Currently, he is guided nine Ph.D., seven PG, and 5 UG students and pursuing two ongoing research projects (ANRF and SPARC). He authored 61 peer-reviewed research articles and 11 book chapters and one patent. His research focuses on organic synthesis utilizing natural carbohydrates and biocatalysts for sustainable catalysis, healthcare, environmental, and energy applications. Additionally, served as guest editor for Trends in Carbohydrate Research, Issue 4, 2025. He delivered 111 presentations @ various national and international platforms. Furthermore, Dr. Reddy served as a visiting professor at NTHU Taiwan (Feb.-March 2024), the University of Santiago de Compostela (CiQUS), Spain (May-June 2024), and Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU), Taiwan (Nov.-Dec. 2025). Recently visited as a visiting professor at NTHU from Feb 2026-March 2026, taught the selected topics in bioorganic chemistry course
