Raissa Fabregas

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. I completed a Ph.D. in Public Policy at Harvard University in 2018, specializing in development and labor economics. I received an M.Sc. in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in Economics from McGill University.

My research interests include understanding barriers to human capital accumulation and labor market access, evaluating interventions to improve public service delivery in developing countries, and the role of social preferences on economic outcomes.
