I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Centro de Investigación Económica and the Department of Economics at ITAM.
I received a PhD from Harvard University in 2018, specializing in development economics. I also hold an M.Sc. in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in Economics from McGill University. Before joining ITAM, I was a faculty member at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
My research focuses on identifying approaches to improving the access to and delivery of services and technologies at scale in low- and middle-income countries, particularly in education, health, and agriculture.
I am a J-PAL research affiliate. I currently serve as the chair of the Technical Panel for Digital Advisory Services for AIM for Scale.
