Walk the beautiful countryside of Somerset, Wiltshire and the Cotswolds.  Meet other walkers, and leave the car at home.  Join the first of what we plan to be many festivals of rail walking.

It will start with a short walk on the Saturday afternoon and a pub meal on the Saturday night.  There will be a choice of shorter and longer walks, led by local guides on the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday morning.  Each one will start at Temple Meads station, taking a published train to another station.

There will be a limit on the number of people for each walk, so please sign up for each walk in advance.  We also need to take a £10 deposit and menu choices for the Saturday evening.

Children are welcome with a responsible adult, but we are sorry, we cannot accept dogs.  This is because of the large numbers of people travelling on trains, and also because we may be walking through fields with cattle (most cattle attacks on people involve dogs).

We are doing all this for free, but will have some expenses (we are reimbursing the rail fares of the walk leaders) so please make a donation if you can afford it.
