RAIDERS SOFTBALL PLAYER EXPECTATIONS - (Head Coach Jon Lambrecht)
**Come to practice or game each day with a positive attitude.
Your attitude is the one thing that you have direct control over.
**Have Fun!
Isn't this the reason we play sports in the first place?
Enjoy yourself, push yourself, walk away from practice each day knowing you accomplished something!
**Set reasonable and attainable goals for yourself and work to achieve them daily.
Be patient and view your progress as a process.
**Focus.
You should focus on each throw, catch, swing...etc.
Do your best to improve in every aspect of your game and be willing to accept advice from your coaches.
Remember practice makes perfect (muscle memory). Pay attention to details!
**Practice hard and play hard...
Doing the right thing in practice will make doing the right thing during a game situation much easier.
**Players are expected to be dedicated and attendance is expected at each practice and game.
If scheduling conflicts come up, players need to consult with their direct coach.
Unexcused absences will result in a parent phone call, either playing time loss or additional running.
Players are expected to be dedicated.
**Players are expected to refrain from any activities that are considered illegal according to the Minnesota State High School League and are expected to perform at passing levels in their academics.
