Student evaluations are the main formal medium I use to improve my teaching and to meet the necessities of my students. The university has an official teaching evaluation form that is required at the end of each course. I received the recognition of “mencapai kecemerlangan dalam mata pelajaran’ for several semesters. Besides that, I conducted my own feedback form which students have to answer at the end of semesters.

Dr. Rahifa binti Ranom merupakan seorang pensyarah yang sangat berdedikasi dan berpandangan jauh dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Sebagai rakan sekerja selama lebih 13 tahun, beliau banyak membantu saya dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugas yang diamanahkan. Selain itu, beliau juga sering berkongsi idea untuk melaksanakan aktiviti pembelajaran abad 21 dalam kelas terutamanya bagi menarik minat dan meningkatkan kefahaman pelajar. Antara teknik yang digunakan adalah active learning dan cooperative and collaborative learning. Pastinya aktiviti-aktiviti yang dilaksanakan telah menarik minat pelajar untuk lebih memahami topik yang dibincangkan.

As I believe my students are encouraged to appreciate and always seek for knowledge, I must demonstrate the same principles. I must always have the determination to increase my knowledge in all areas of my profession as a lecturer. It’s a continuous challenge throughout the journey as the student’s need and technologies are changing with time. I must continue to learn new methods, techniques, approaches and skills by attending conferences and workshops on education. There are always spacious room for improvements.
With this spirit, I look forward to be better person and contribute more in creating a responsible person who appreciates knowledge in life. Teaching is my passion. May Allah ease and pour His blessings throughout the journey.
