Extra: breaking the ice

In many of these summer courses the students were very afraid of exams (not to say of Mathematics itself). To mitigate that, I used to put some funny questions in the exams to calm them down a little.

To not risk my job, I would strike out the "fake question", not imagining that some people would indeed gift me with some funny drawings, as you can see below. I like each in different ways.

Many thanks to all my students for all their kindness.

"Draw a happy mouse" and "Draw a mango sleeping in a hammock", pencil on A4 paper, at the Eskenazi Museum of Art, masterpieces room. Authors unknown.
