Radix DICOM ("the app") is built by a solo developer. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
WHAT THE APP DOES NOT COLLECT
The app does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
No personal information. No name, email, phone number, or account credentials. There are no accounts.
- No protected health information (PHI). DICOM files you open remain entirely on your device. The app never uploads, shares, or transmits pixel data, metadata, or any DICOM content to any server.
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any third-party analytics SDK.
- No advertising. No ad SDKs, no ad networks, no tracking pixels.
- No device identifiers. No access to Advertising ID, IMEI, MAC address, or any persistent device identifier.
- No location data. No GPS, coarse location, or IP-based geolocation.
- No crash reporting SDK. No Sentry, Crashlytics, or equivalent.
WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
DICOM files you open are copied to a local app cache directory for decoding. This cache is wiped when you close the file or the app.
- A list of recently opened files (patient name, modality, dimensions, file path) is stored locally using Android's SharedPreferences. This list never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
- Theme preference (dark/light) is stored locally.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The app uses Google Play Billing (via the in_app_purchase Flutter package) when a paid subscription tier is active. Play Billing processes payments through your Google account. The app itself does not receive, store, or process your payment details - Google handles all of that. No other third-party services are used.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
This app is not directed at children under 13. It is a professional medical imaging tool.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the updated version will be linked from the Play Store listing and from within the app.
