Research Scholarship for Doctoral Students
2023
I gained a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to conduct a four-month long visiting academic stay at the University of Oxford in order to work with Prof. Matthew Husband on a study examining the time-course of the activation of scalar alternatives in processing.
Gibbs Prize
2019
For my performance in the final examinations at the University of Oxford, I was awarded the Gibbs Prize for Best Performance in Linguistics and the Proxime Accessit Gibbs Prize for Best Performance in the Final Honour School of Psychology, Philosophy and Linguistics.
St Hugh's College Undergraduate Scholarship
2017 - 2019
Having obtained first class grades in my Preliminary Examinations during my studies at Oxford, I was inducted as a Scholar at St Hugh's College with the award of £200 per annum.
Stephen Parkinson Prize
2017
I was awarded the Stephen Parkinson Prize for Best Performance in Linguistics for my results in Oxford's Preliminary Examinations. These are first year examinations taken for introductory courses.
Bakala Scholarship
2015 - 2019
I was awarded a scholarship by the Bakala Foundation, a Czech educational foundation that supports Czech students in their studies abroad. This scholarship allowed me to fund my living expenses during my studies at Oxford.
