Through years of personal and professional experience in education, international solidarity work, somatic practices, in social justice communities, as a spiritual practitioner and Love coach, Krista has refined the practice of radical self-love, embracing it as both a personal and collective path to healing. Emily has been so moved by her journey of self- discovery and growth in the last few years, and that she has opened her family's retreat home to share these experiences with others. She also brings ceremony, music, and cooking skills as her offerings to the retreat experience. With deep roots in the wisdom of ancestors, educators, spiritual guides, and the healing power of embodied love, this retreat offers a space for community, reflection, and empowerment.
What You Will Experience:
Somatic Practices: Learn how to embody love, becoming a living expression of the principles you seek to embody. Through guided movement, breathwork, and mindfulness, you’ll discover how to ground yourself in your body and align with your true essence.
Healing Circle: Together, we’ll create a community where vulnerability is honored, and mutual support fosters deep healing. This is a space to witness and be witnessed, to celebrate both your strengths and weaknesses, and to recognize your inherent worth.
Radical Self-Acceptance: Move beyond self-criticism and judgment. Through reflection and group activities, you’ll practice embracing all parts of yourself, especially those you’ve been conditioned to dislike or hide. This is an opportunity to celebrate your humanness and imperfections.
Transformative Learning: Engage in profound discussions and activities on how radical self-love can transform social justice work, education, and our interactions with others. When we heal ourselves, we become catalysts for collective healing.
Integration into Daily Life: Radical self-love is not just a retreat experience—it is a lifelong practice. You’ll leave with tools and insights for continuing this journey of self-love in your daily life, relationships, and professional endeavors.
