Hello, and thanks for stopping by my website!
I am a linguist with research interests in speech perception, phonetics and psycholinguistics. I received a PhD in Linguistics from the University of British Columbia, where I was actively involved in the Speech in Context Lab. My dissertation examined phonetic variation through the lens of an ongoing sound change in Cantonese, but I am interested in how humans understand and interact with language more broadly. I am passionate about scientific communication, knowledge translation, relationship building and continuous learning, and invite you to reach out on LinkedIn if these speak to you as well.
Currently, I work as an Associate Annotator for Google via TEKsystems, but I also have experience managing digital projects in SaaS contexts for cross-functional teams, and teaching to a wide range of audiences (subject matter experts, stakeholders, community knowledge holders, etc.).
