Educational Background

I attended the Pennsylvania State University and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and French in December 1993. After graduation, I worked as a substitute teacher while I studied at Seton Hill University and the University of Pittsburgh and received my Spanish teaching certification in 1997.

After teaching for five years, I decided to apply to law school and I attended Duquesne University School of Law and was a student in their 4 year evening program. I attended classes 4 nights a week while teaching full time and graduated in June 2006 with my Juris Doctor Degree. I took the Bar Exam in July of 2006 and received my passing results in November of 2006.

I finished the Instructional Technology program at Duquesne University and received my Master's Degree in May, 2016. I am very active in presentations and conferences and look forward to opportunities to further integrate technology into my classroom and to help others integrate technology into their classrooms. I continue to work on my personal professional development by actively seeking new learning experiences, attending and presenting at conferences, and connecting with other educators.

I am currently a student in the Doctoral Program at Duquesne pursuing my doctorate in Instructional Technology.
