Elementary Director, 2014 - 2019

• Recipient of the 2016-2017 WHO Award (We Honor Ours) for the Newark Teachers Association
• Developed and organized NTA's contribution to Newark Elementary School Family Science Nights: "anglerfish headbands" (2017) and paper circuits (2018)
• Worked with district administration to change beginning of the year assessment requirements for teachers and students
• Organized the NTA booth activity at the 2016 & 2017 Newark Days Festival
• Helped organize the 2016 Teacher Appreciation goodie bags
• Sat in on meetings to develop MOU about Milani/Bunker merger with respect to moving and reassignment timeline
