Teaching

During my career thus far, I've had the opportunity to teach courses in linguistics, first year college matriculation seminars, Black studies, indigenous race and ethnic studies, and interdisciplinary cognitive science. I have also advised honors theses and taught independent studies/specialized reading courses with students. I create my classrooms around feminist- centered educational practice,  given my historically women’s liberal arts background.  I curate a learning environment that collectively empowers students to engage with instructors, peers, campus happenings, and course content. I center equity and justice as core tenets of a successful teaching and learning environment.
