I am originally from St. Louis, MO (go Cardinals!). I did my undergraduate degree at Purdue University in Applied Physics and Planetary Sciences. After graduating in 2016, I moved to Santa Cruz, CA to work on my PhD in Planetary Sciences at the University of California - Santa Cruz. I defended my thesis in 2022 and moved to Maryland for my next adventure: a postdoc at NASA! My focus is currently on Mars and the Moon, though I have an interest in all terrestrial bodies. Outside of research, I enjoy playing softball, watching/reading Sci-Fi (with a priority on Star Trek), attempting to play along with Jeopardy, and anything cat related!
