To: Prof R N Subudhi Sir
I was studying IRPM in Berhampur University from 1998-2000 and in those periods visited many times to department of business administration and always seen Subudhi Sir taking class. From my friends came to know that he taught statistics to them. After my IRPM I took admission in MBA for the academic period 2000-2002 and came in direct contact of Sir. I was having an impression that math teachers are angry people by nature but surprisingly Sir I found the opposite. I contested for Dramatic Secretary and won the student election. One day I was discussing with Prof. Rudra Prasanna Mohapatra Sir, and he told me about Sir's other talents which I was totally unaware. Sir's interest in literature fascinated me as I too love writing.
It was the time for study tour, Sir along with Arun Panda Sir organised everything for our tour for Goa and Mumbai. This was the time when I saw different person who is meticulous in his Planning and Execution. We could get chance to visit the plant site of pharmaceutical company BlueCross in Goa and attend talks inside NSE in Mumbai.
Post my MBA, I shifted to Bhubaneswar and Subudhi Sir to Vellore. I met Sir again in Bhubaneswar around 2007 for my PhD work for his help and he generously guided me on hypothesis formulation. I got transferred in the beginning of 2011 to Ahmedabad. Facebook and WhatsApp are the two social networking platforms which helped me to be in touch with Sir and guided me to register myself as lifetime member ORSI, Bhubaneswar chapter and presenting my paper in workshop conducted by KIIT University and ORSI-Bhubaneswar.
I like Sir’s inclination towards Odia literature and follow his write ups in social media. He is one of my inspirations who touched immensely my personal and professional life. Thank you Sir for all your guidance and support.
