"Beauty in Complexity" uses flowers and zentangle to convey pattern complexity, elegance, and renewal.
The zentangle (black and white patterns) signifies the complexity of life. Zentangle is an art form created for meditative purposes. During the recent quarantine period, people found comfort and were able to relax by creating Zentangle designs.
The flowers represent the elegance of life while the ginkgo leaves–which change in color to depict different seasons–represent the renewal of life.
Artist: Greeshma Regula
Hello! I’m Greeshma Regula, a junior at Cupertino High School, who is passionate about art. Art has been my hobby ever since I started taking classes in my community as a little kid. Now I continue to art classes as an elective at my high school; I can't imagine what my life would be like without art in it.
