For the Year of the Rabbit, 2023, the Rotary Club of Cupertino organized "Cupertino Rabbits", a community-wide public art exhibition and fundraiser to showcase our public spaces, celebrate the spirit of the rabbit year (grace, elegance, renewal), enhance community spirit/sense of place, and fund worthy charitable projects. 

"Cupertino Rabbits"  include fiberglass rabbit forms in three postures and various sizes. Each rabbit has been sponsored by a local organization or business, and decorated by local artists with unique design themes that are meaningful to our community. "Cupertino Rabbits" have brought smiles to our community for many months, and now they will be sold at auction as playful and beautiful art pieces for private enjoyment. 

This "Cupertino Rabbits" fundraiser has raised more than $30,000 for charitable purposes. This includes the $11,000 contributed last winter to help build residences in Kharkiv,Ukraine, replacing homes destroyed in the war.
