RAAM is an ultracycling event held for almost 40 years in the U.S. RAAM starts in Oceanside, California, spans 3000 miles, climbs 175,000 feet, crosses 12 states and finishes in Annapolis, Maryland. Open to amateur and professional racers, in solo, 2-, 4- and 8-person relay teams, there is no other race in the world comparable to RAAM. The Race has become a global icon, having had over 35 countries represented. Not only has RAAM proved to be one of the most challenging races in the world, but has become a huge platform for racers to raise awareness and money for charities of their choice.

The goal is to finish in 7 day. That means we plan on riding an average speed of about 17 miles per hour and always have one rider on the road. Target arrival in Annapolis, MD is on Saturday, June 26, 2022

All of us, riders and crew, have first or second hand experience with bicycle accidents. We all know of tragic stories, some of them without a good ending.
Sometimes athletes may have high deductible health insurance plans or they may not have insurance at all.
With traffic incidents on the rise, we want to make a difference to either prevent accidents and serious injuries or help injured athletes to get back on their feet, physically and financially.
We appreciate all the support we can get: we encourage donations to the charity we work with (to be announced soon).
