2012 -2016: University of Sciences and Technology of Algiers (USTHB)
My PhD thesis is entitled: “Data Confidentiality in the Internet of Things”. I mainly focused on the security aspect of the Internet of Things (IoT), particularly, on the confidentiality of the exchanged data. The aim was to propose new key management protocols, or adapt existing ones to the constrained environment of IoT applications. My PhD thesis has been supervised by Dr. Djamel Tandjaoui (CERIST). Part of my research activities have been conducted in collaboration with the networking & Security lab at Napier Edinburgh University (Scotland, UK) under the supervision of Dr. Imed Romdhani. I successfully defended my thesis in April 2016 distinguished by the jury with a highly honorable mention.
