Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Quotly (Quotly or the App) handles information. By using Quotly, you acknowledge this Policy.

1. Overview

Quotly is built for on-device creation of quote posters. You do not need an online account or password for core use. Creative materials are processed locally on your device whenever possible.

2. Information processed on your device

Depending on features you use, Quotly may process and store locally: photos you capture or import as poster backgrounds; text you type or dictate for posters; draft and exported design files in the App sandbox; Design Credits balance and related local settings; and choices such as text style, colors, branding mark, and layout. This information stays on your device unless you export, save to Photos, or share content yourself.

3. Information we do not require for core use

Quotly does not require you to submit your real name, email, or password to start using the App. We do not operate a required cloud account for the core create and export flow described in the App.

4. Purchases

If you buy credit packs, payment is handled by the platform store such as Apple. Quotly stores the resulting credit balance on your device. We do not receive your full payment card number inside the App.

5. Permissions

Camera is used only when you take a background photo. Photo Library is used to import backgrounds and to save posters when you choose. Microphone and Speech Recognition are used only when you use Dictate. Notifications are optional. App Tracking Transparency is optional and not required to create or export posters. You can change these in system Settings.

6. Analytics and tracking

Tracking permission, if shown, is optional. Core poster creation does not require tracking. If a given build does not include third-party analytics, usage is not sent to analytics providers by those features.

7. Third-party services

When you use system features such as App Store purchases, Photos, Share Sheet, or speech frameworks, those services process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Retention

Local drafts, media, and credits remain until you delete them, clear App data, use Clear All Local Data, or uninstall Quotly. Quotly local workflow does not keep a separate cloud copy of your posters.

9. Children

Quotly is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your region. Do not use the App below that age without required guardian consent.

10. Your choices

You may deny or revoke permissions in system Settings. You may delete drafts or exports in Library where available. You may use Clear All Local Data in Settings to wipe local App data. You may uninstall Quotly to remove the App sandbox.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy by posting a revised version at this URL and changing the Last updated date.
