Many first responders have found that people's emergency alert stickers and cards are often innacurate and out-of-date. To help first responders, make sure to update these emergency alert methods frequently. Write the "last updated" date on the front so first responders know they are accurate.

Moving blankets or other heavy duty materials are necessary to care for larger animals. 

A mylar blanket can help keep yourself and your pets warm if you find yourself stranded in the cold.

Make sure to keep any potentially harmful items out of reach of pets to avoid emergency situations. Medications, small sharp items like sewing needles, and easily consumable items like hair ties should always be kept away from pets to prevent them from ingesting them.
