Toolbar Icon: Click the QuickCalc Pro icon in your Chrome extensions bar.
Google Chrome restricts all extensions from running on specific "System Pages" for security. This includes:
The Chrome Web Store
chrome:// pages (Settings, New Tab page, Downloads)
Any page before it has fully finished loading.
Solution: Navigate to a regular website (like Google, Wikipedia, or a news site) and try again!
Open the calculator.
Click the "Convert" tab at the top.
Select your category (Length or Weight).
Enter your value and watch it convert instantly.
Yes. Once installed, the calculation engine runs entirely on your local machine. You do not need an internet connection to perform math or unit conversions.
If you accidentally dragged the calculator off-screen or it isn't appearing, simply refresh the webpage or press Alt + C twice to reset the position.
QuickCalc Pro saves your last 20 calculations using browser storage. If your history is empty, ensure you haven't cleared your "Extension Data" or "Local Storage" in your browser settings recently.
You can change the shortcut at any time:
Type chrome://extensions/shortcuts in your address bar.
Find QuickCalc Pro.
Click the pencil icon and type your preferred key combination (e.g., Ctrl + Shift + K).
