Questz ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your
privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and
share information when you use the Questz mobile application.
By using Questz you agree to the collection and use of
information in accordance with this policy.

• Display name and username
• Email address
• Profile picture (optional)
• Quest proof photos you choose to upload
• Account preferences (privacy setting, interests)
Information collected automatically:
• App usage data (quests completed, streaks, XP)
• Device type and operating system (for crash reporting)
We do NOT collect:
• Precise location data
• Contacts
• Payment information (all purchases handled by Apple)

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to:
• Provide and improve the Questz service
• Display your profile and quest activity to friends
• Calculate streaks, XP and level progression
• Power the Explore feed and leaderboard (public accounts only)
• Send notifications about friend activity (if enabled)

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

Public accounts:
Your quest photos, display name, level and streak may be visible
to other Questz users in the Explore tab and leaderboard.
Private accounts:
Your quest photos and activity are only visible to users you
have accepted as friends.
We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.
We may share data with:
• Supabase (database and authentication provider)
• Apple (app distribution and in-app purchases)
These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and
data processing agreements.

5. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses
industry-standard encryption. Quest photos are stored in
secure cloud storage.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
You may request deletion of your account and data at any time
by contacting us.

You have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Change your account from public to private at any time
• Withdraw consent at any time

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Questz is not directed to children under 13. We do not
