I obtained my PhD in sociology in 2019 at Sciences Po. I am currently Director of the Center for Economics and Social Policy (CEAS), Universidad Mayor, Chile.
My research focuses on urban sociology, sociology of education and social cohesion. I specialize in studying neighborhood and school segregation processes interact and how they shape individuals’ decisions, behaviors and outcomes.
I teach urban sociology, quantitative methods, microeconomics and evaluation of public policies.

I am Principal Investigador in the Millennium Nucleus on Insecurity and Urban Cohesion (NUMIC). More information here.
I have been awarded a Fondecyt Iniciación Research Grant (2024-2027), to study residential segregation and school choice in Chile. More information here.
