I am an Assistant Professor at the Center for Economics and Social Policy (CEAS), Universidad Mayor, Chile. I am also an Adjunct Researcher at the Center for Social Conflict and Cohesion Studies (COES).
My research focuses on urban sociology, sociology of education, housing, and social cohesion. I specialize in studying neighborhood and school segregation processes and how they shape individuals’ opportunities, behaviors, and outcomes. I am also interested in the relationship between spatial inequality and social cohesion.
I teach urban sociology, quantitative methods, microeconomics and evaluation of public policies.
