Yas, And! Comedy debuted their unique theatrical stylings with their pilot show, Yas, And! in June, 2025 at the Annoyance Theatre. The collective was started by couple Thomas Beheler (Artistic Director) and Christopher Willumsen (Executive Director), who met doing theater and collectively bring decades of experience in a myriad of styles to these productions. The mission and aim of Yas, And! Comedy is to elevate queer voices in the Chicago Theatre & Arts community.
When Dorothy and Alice find themselves stranded in the same broken, in-between world, neither one has a clear path home — and neither one is exactly who she thought she was. Blue Dress is a hilarious, queer meta-fantasy that sends two of literature's most iconic heroines on a collision course through a mashup of Oz and Wonderland, full of absurdity, strange creatures, and moments of genuine heart. It's a play about what happens when the adventure you're on turns out to be the one you needed — and how much easier it is to find yourself when you're not doing it alone.
Poison is a darkly comedic, interactive theater experience where desire, deception, and consequence unfold in real time. At its core, the show wrestles with fate versus free will—inviting the audience to make choices that shape the story while quietly questioning whether those choices were ever truly theirs to begin with. As relationships unravel and motives come into question, each decision steers the narrative down a new, often dangerous path. With a “choose your own adventure” structure driving the action, no two performances are the same—yet each one circles the same unsettling idea: are we in control, or just playing out something inevitable?
