In addition to our monthly Queer Munches, we also offer a variety of educational and social special events throughout the year. Past events have included:
Kink for the Qurious: This program was an introductory lesson and discussion for folks brand new to kink. We covered subjects like consent and negotiation, online safety, boundaries, and safety during kink play.
Impact Play 101: Impact play, which is a form of kink where a top or dominant strikes a bottom or submissive with a hand or object, can be a lot of fun. It also carries risk. In this workshop, a professional educator explained and demonstrated how to engage safely in impact play from a harm reduction angle.
Sex Ed for Kink: Many kink practitioners engage in their kinks as a sex activity. This beginner workshop covered STI and pregnancy prevention, the basics of consent and negotiation, and risk reduction strategies for the most common kink.
Demystifying Dungeons: Learn about dungeon ettiquette, safety, and vetting processes to take care of yourself while having fun.
These workshops are typically offered low cost or sliding scale to help defray the cost of supplies and facilitation.
