My name is Yi Ling Wang, and I began tutoring with Moses Williams on the 12th June 2024, when I was nearly at the end of Y8. Throughout my time being tutored by Moses, I was able to increase vocabulary, upgrade my sentences, and go through a wide range of text: speeches, analysis and even writing "What if..." short stories. For example, "What if...A train was stuck on a mountain?" or "What if...The fight for copper," and "What if… There was a unpredictable firework incident that caused several injuries and losses."

Going from analysis paragraphs to writing speeches, I decided that we should create a six-week project one year after our first year of tutoring, creating a short story for fun in the summer holidays. As a small challenge that was set for me, Moses decided to set the genre — a dystopian story. From there, we started researching about what a dystopian story was and I started planning my unpublished book "Queen of the Rebellion" on the 7th July, 2025. After effective planning, this successfully lead me into the position that I had managed to get myself into now, nearly finishing my first draft of the book.
