One of the main aims of Quartet Club WA is to help musicians find other people to play chamber music with.
Many of us have discovered that the hardest part of playing chamber music isn't learning the repertoire—it's finding compatible musicians with similar interests and availability. Quartet Club was created to solve that problem.
Whether you're looking for a string quartet, trio, string quintet, or wind ensemble or simply another musician to sight-read with, Quartet Club provides regular opportunities to meet like-minded players from across Perth and Western Australia.
Members are encouraged to get to know one another during our monthly play days and, over time, form their own chamber groups to rehearse and perform independently.
With members' permission, we maintain a contact directory so that players can connect with one another between play days. If you're looking for a particular instrument—or would like help finding a group—we're always happy to help make introductions.
Our aim is to create a thriving community of chamber musicians in Perth, where new friendships are formed, great music is discovered, and chamber groups continue playing long after each monthly meeting has finished.
Please do get in touch if you would like to be put in touch with players.
