Originally based on the work of an 18th Century Kannada poet, this piece speaks about believing in yourself in the face of adversity, and paying attention to the small things in life to achieve larger goals.

Released back in 1980 as part of the album Permanent Waves, this song is a lament that explores the transition of music, from more free-form structures to modern-commercial formats, on the radio. This song is of the hard rock genre and had become one of Rush's most renowned songs.
