• Call for Papers: Special Issue on Quantum Machine Learning (Deadline for manuscript submissions: 31 December 2027 )

We are pleased to share the Special Issue “Quantum Machine Learning: Algorithms, Applications, and Emerging Trends,” with Dr Xing Liang serving as Lead Guest Editor.

The Special Issue welcomes high-quality submissions on quantum machine learning algorithms, applications, and emerging research directions.

• We are pleased to share two recent research achievements by Pandey.

His paper, “Brain-Inspired Quantum Machine Learning Architecture and its Benchmarking on Astronomical Classification,” has been accepted for publication in Astronomy and Computing.

Another of his papers, “A Quantum-Inspired Tensor-Train-Assisted Simulator for Conjugate Heat Transfer in Channels with Shaped Pin-Fin Elements,” was presented at the 7th International Symposium on Thermal-Fluid Dynamics (ISTFD 2026), held in Xi’an, China, from 10–13 July 2026.

Both Santanu and Jack's applications to the Quantum Technologies Summer School 2026, supported by the QCi3 Hub, have been successful.

Nour’s paper, “FRLD-DF: Frequency Ring-Guided LoRA Adaptation of DINOv2 Vision Transformer for Generalizable Deepfake Detection,” has been accepted for presentation at the 20th IEEE International Conference on Automatic Face and Gesture Recognition (FG 2026) in Kyoto, Japan. The paper will be presented as part of the 3rd International Workshop on Synthetic Data for Face and Gesture Analysis (SD-FGA).

• We are pleased to share that Daniel's work, “Solving Larger Travelling Salesman Problem Networks with a Penalty-Free Variational Quantum Algorithm,” has been selected for poster presentation at the highly competitive QCTiP 2026, held at the University of Oxford, April 20-22, 2026, providing an opportunity to share and discuss emerging ideas with the community. 

• Congratulations to Nour on the publication of the paper titled: “FlashF5-MaViT: A Fast Five Frequency Mamba with CDC–FastViT Architecture for Deepfake Detection” has been accepted by ICVISP 2025 to be held at Xi’an China, Nov 28-30!
