A Minimum of 5 competing athletes per category is required to award a podium. Categories with lower participation will be combined at the organizers' discretion*

If you are traveling to the island on race day, please arrive at the Banana Island Boat Terminal by 05:15 am to complete the necessary formalities.

The boat will leave at precisely 06:00 am.
1 KM (2 Laps of 500 m)
LAP will be done using the AUSTRALIAN EXIT METHOD (After your first lap, exit the water, run to the Beach, turn on the timing point and Re-Enter the water)

Timing Chip collection will start on Saturday, 24th December, at 06:30 am.
After signing the Disclaimer Form, You will receive a timing chip with an ankle strap.
Volunteers will help with body number marking.

We will use electronic timing to give you run, bike, and transition times.
You will be issued a timing chip attached to an ankle strap.
Please use the timing chip given to you at registration - any other timing chip will not work.
You need to attach the Ankle Strap with the timing chip to your LEFT ankle.
Timing points are located at the start, entry/exit to the transition zone, and finish.
We will collect the timing chip from you at the finish line.
You must return your chip to the finish, even if you withdraw. Otherwise, we will think you are still out there racing.
If you don’t return your timing chip, you will be liable for a fee of QAR 500 - so please remember to return it.
On race day, the transition zone will be open from 6:30 am for athletes to prepare their area until 8:00 am. It will close promptly.
Only racing competitors will be allowed through the transition area during the race.
The transition area is situated on the sandy beach, and there will be NO CARPET covering, so participants are advised to bring their own cover for the ground.
A plastic bin with corresponding race numbers will be provided where you can place your running shoes & swim gear.
Please be considerate of other competitors, other items that will not be used during the race should be moved away so that transition is kept as clear as possible.
The run route is in an anti-clockwise direction.
Chest and thighs must be covered by shirt/shorts or tri-suit. Tri-suit zippers must not be unfastened.
iPods or similar headphone devices are not allowed.
Body number markings must always remain visible when running.
There are aid stations on the route.
Avoid littering on the run route.
The course is always anti-clockwise. Pass with the swim buoys on your left shoulder.
Since the format is Run Swim Run, the event will be a non-wetsuit swim.
Only swim goggles or masks are permitted. No other swim aids of any kind are permitted.
Only official lifeguards on kayaks and rescue jet skis are allowed on the swim course. Swimmers may use the kayaks and jet skis for aid should they require assistance so long as there is no forward momentum, which would result in disqualification.
Please use brightly colored swim caps.
Please stay hydrated. Drink plenty of fluids in the days leading up to the race. Remember to continue to take on fluids in the morning before the start.
There will be water available from aid stations on the run course.
You must be aware of the weather conditions during the race. It is expected to be hot with very little if any, shade.
First aiders will be on standby throughout the race, but you must take care to race sensibly in such conditions.
If you get headaches or feel dizzy and nauseous, you may be suffering from heat exhaustion. Listen to your body. Common heat exhaustion symptoms include confusion, muscle cramps, heavy sweating, headaches, nausea/vomiting, and dizziness. If you become aware of these symptoms, then seek medical help. Talk to the nearest volunteer who can help you get attention.
The First three athletes in all race categories must attend the ceremony to be eligible for prizes. The ceremony will be held 30 minutes, at the latest, after the last athlete crosses the line.
After the event, results will be available as soon as possible. Any queries relating to them should be emailed to qataritriathlonclub@gmail.com by Monday after the event. After this time, all results will be considered final and complete.
Our host, the Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, is providing us with special rates applicable for the participants of the Aquathlon event who would like to stay on the coming 23rd or 24th of December.

For us to prepare the Start List in advance, The online registration is open until 12:00 pm on 21st December.
STEP 1:
Pay the Entry Fee (Click here to pay for your entry fee).
After the successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email from Fatora showing your order number. Save this number; you will need to enter this into your registration form.
STEP 2:
Fill up the Google Form (Click here to register your information), you will need to enter the order number shown in the confirmation email you received after paying the entry fee.
You will receive a confirmation email from Google Forms showing the information you entered.
