Educational program consists of two parts: courses of the University of Ljubljana, and additional QT Future courses aimed to present modern science in the context of its background, consisting of the most important original works of the XX century.
University of Ljubljana Syllabus : see Syllabus section at the end of this web page, and Curricula for orientations. Briefly, the major portion of required 240 credits consists of research (180) and presentation of dissertation theme (15). Classroom learning includes compulsory elements (course + seminar, 18 credits totally) and elective courses (18 credits). The choice of courses must be supported by the supervisor and approved by the FMF Department of Physics Study Board, but there are many degrees of freedom.
QT Future current courses and seminars : Set of specialized courses in quantum condensed matter physics (theory and experiment) is deemed to bring students close to the current research forefront, while helping them to obtain professional knowledge of major techniques developed during recent decades.
