Welcome to the Silicon Quantum Computing laboratory (Q-Si Lab) at IIT Bombay. As a part of the National Quantum Mission (NQM), the Q-Si Lab is primarily engaged in technology development for realization of a scalable quantum computing (QC) architecture, with electron spin qubits in Si. As a condensed matter experimental research group, our activities span over semiconductor epitaxy, development of CMOS-compatible optoelectronic devices, and quantum transport. Please browse through our Research and Publications pages to know more about our activities.
If you are keen to join us in our endeavour to develop cutting-edge technologies of social and strategic importance for the nation, we encourage you to contact us at suddho[at]phy[dot]iitb[dot]ac[dot]in, with your resume, and a brief statement of purpose. Prospective PhD candidates are also encouraged to apply to the Physics and CRNTS Departments, through the bi-annual PhD admission process of IIT Bombay. For further information, please click here.
