Opening: We are recruiting highly motivated graduate students as follows.
Research Topic: Low-dimensional materials for emerging computing and information science technologies
Key Responsibilities: MOCVD growth of low-temperature, large-area 2D materials; transfer/patterning of heterostructure devices; single-photon emission characterization (photon correlation, low-temperature spectroscopy); structural and chemical analysis
Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. degree in a relevant field (materials science, chemical engineering, physics, electrical/electronic engineering, chemistry, or related areas). Basic understanding of semiconductor physics (coursework is sufficient)
Program & Support:
- Enrollment as an integrated M.S.-Ph.D., or Ph.D. student in the Department of Energy Science at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU).
- Research scholarship and stipend according to SKKU and project regulations
- Opportunities for collaboration with international research groups and for presenting at domestic and international conferences
Application Process: 1) Document review (CV, academic transcript, and a brief statement of research interest) 2) Interview (research presentation & lab tour; Zoom option available) 3) Final selection and guidance on the formal SKKU graduate application process
How to Apply: Submit a single PDF (CV + transcript + short statement of interest) by email
