These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the QRX App Team (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the QRX application and related services (the “App”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control, for lawful purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Google Play’s terms of service.
QRX scans and creates QR codes and barcodes, offers optional link-safety checks, history, code design tools and digital business cards. Core features work offline; some features (link safety check, ads in the free version, purchases) require an internet connection.
QRX Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) and as a one-time lifetime purchase, billed through Google Play.
Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by country. Where offered, a free trial converts into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy. Where required by law, statutory refund rights are unaffected.
Use “Restore purchase” in Settings to re-enable Pro on a new device with the same Google account.
You agree not to:
use the App to create or distribute codes that link to malware, phishing, scams, or illegal content;
scan or use codes to violate the rights, privacy, or security of others;
reverse engineer, decompile, resell, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law;
use the App in violation of applicable laws or Google Play policies.
We may suspend features or terminate your license for material violation of these Terms.
The link-safety check is a best-effort protection layer based on third-party reputation data and offline heuristics. No security feature can detect every dangerous link. A “safe” label is not a guarantee, and a warning is not proof of wrongdoing by any site. You remain responsible for deciding which links to open and which codes to trust. Codes you create with QRX are your content and your responsibility.
Scanned codes may open third-party websites or apps (browsers, maps, contacts, Wi-Fi settings). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or services. Google Play Billing, AdMob and Firebase are governed by Google’s terms and policies.
The App, including its design, branding (“QRX”), graphics and software, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED; its use in this App follows the open QR specification. Codes and cards you create belong to you; you grant us no rights over their content.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every code will be recognized in all conditions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App — including damage resulting from opening third-party links or relying on safety labels. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim (or USD 10 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including consumer rights in your country of residence.
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time (for example when new features such as AI tools or Dynamic QR launch). Material changes will be announced in-app or on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. These Terms remain in effect while you use the App; sections 5–9 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Vietnam, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
