This Privacy Policy explains how Vedep Mobi (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Android application Qr Code & Barcode Scanner (the “App”).
By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and stop using it.
Before you publish: replace zarkarsopport@gmail.com below with the real support email you want users and Google Play to use.
The App is developed and published by Vedep Mobi . For privacy questions, data requests, or complaints, contact us at:
Email: zarkarsopport@gmail.com
In-app: Settings → Contact us
We do not require you to create an account or log in.
Camera frames and gallery images are processed on your device to detect QR codes and barcodes. We do not upload those images to our servers.
Scan and generate history is stored locally on your device. You can turn history off or delete it at any time.
The free version shows ads. Advertising partners may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads.
We use Google Firebase for analytics, crash reports, and remote configuration.
Purchases are handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
The following stays on your phone or tablet unless you choose to share it yourself (for example by using Share, Copy, or opening a scanned link):
Scan results — the text or data decoded from a QR code or barcode.
Generated codes — content you type in to create a QR code or barcode, plus an optional name/label.
History — a local list of scanned and created codes, if “Save history” is enabled in Settings.
App preferences — theme, vibrate, beep, auto-copy, search engine, and similar settings.
Premium status — whether the unlimited plan is unlocked on this device.
Clipboard — if auto-copy is enabled, scanned content is copied to the system clipboard on your device.
Camera preview is used only to detect codes. We do not record, save, or upload live camera video. If you pick an image from the gallery, that image is decoded on the device and is not uploaded by us.
Internet connection status — to load ads, check for configuration updates, report crashes, and complete purchases.
Device and app information — for example app version, Android version, device model/manufacturer, language, time zone, and similar technical data. This is used for crash diagnosis, analytics, ads, and support.
Advertising ID — the Google advertising identifier on your device, used by ad networks (you can reset or limit this in Android settings).
Usage events — for example that a screen was opened, a scan completed, an ad was shown, or a purchase flow started. These events are used for analytics, ads, and to operate usage limits in the free version.
Crash and diagnostic logs — if the App crashes, Firebase Crashlytics may receive a report that can include the stack trace, device type, and OS version. Crash reports are not intended to include the content of your scans.
Feedback you send us — if you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any device details you include.
We do not operate user accounts. We do not ask you to register with a name, password, or profile. We do not collect government ID numbers, precise GPS location as a tracking feature, or payment card numbers.
If a scanned or generated code itself contains personal data (a phone number, email, Wi-Fi password, vCard, location coordinates, and so on), that data is handled on your device. We do not harvest it from the code for our own database.
Camera — to scan QR codes and barcodes in real time. Optional; you can still use gallery scanning if you deny camera access.
Photos / gallery (user-selected image) — you may pick an image so the App can decode a code from that photo. On modern Android versions this uses the system photo picker; we do not need broad access to all photos.
Internet and network state — ads, Firebase, Google Play Billing, and opening web links.
Vibrate — optional haptic feedback when a code is detected.
Wi-Fi state / change Wi-Fi state — only to help you connect to a Wi-Fi network when you scan a Wi-Fi QR code. We do not scan nearby networks for advertising.
Storage (Android 9 and older) — to save a generated code image if you choose Save image.
Advertising ID — so ad partners can serve and measure ads.
Notifications — some advertising SDKs may request notification permission (for example for ad-related or offline messages). We do not use notifications as a required core feature of scanning.
Some actions (open a website, call, SMS, email, add a contact, add a calendar event, show a map) are handed to other apps on your device. Those apps have their own privacy practices.
We use information to:
Provide scanning, generation, history, sharing, and related features.
Remember your settings and premium unlock.
Show ads in the free version and measure ad performance.
Apply free-usage limits and rewarded-ad extra chances.
Operate, maintain, and improve the App (including remote configuration of ads and feature flags).
Diagnose crashes and technical problems.
Respond to support requests.
Comply with law, Google Play policies, and enforce our Terms.
The free version of the App displays advertisements, which may include banners, interstitial (full-screen) ads, rewarded video ads, and app-open ads. An optional one-time Unlimited plan removes the free-try limit and ads, subject to the product description in Google Play.
Advertising partners may collect or receive device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device/app information, and ad interaction data. They may use this for:
Serving ads, including interest-based or personalized ads where allowed.
Fraud prevention, security, and frequency capping.
Measuring clicks, impressions, and conversions.
Ad networks that may be used in the App include:
Google AdMob / Google advertising services — https://policies.google.com/privacy
Meta Audience Network — https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
AppLovin — https://www.applovin.com/privacy/
Unity Ads — https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
Start.io (StartApp) — https://www.start.io/policy/privacy-policy/
You can limit ad personalization:
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization (wording varies by device).
In the European Economic Area, UK, and similar regions, you may see a consent message required by advertising partners. Your choice is honored through those partner tools where implemented.
We use Google Firebase services, including:
Firebase Analytics — to understand how the App is used (for example feature usage and stability).
Firebase Crashlytics — to find and fix crashes.
Firebase Remote Config — to update configuration such as ad settings, maintenance mode, or minimum supported version without releasing a new app build.

Firebase information: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. Google collects payment information according to Google’s policies. We receive purchase confirmation (for example that the unlimited plan was bought or restored) so we can unlock features. We do not store your credit card or Google account password.
Google Play terms and privacy: Play Terms and Google Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your name or scan history as a list of customers. We share information only as follows:
Service providers and SDKs — Google, advertising networks listed above, and similar infrastructure needed to run the App.
Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect users, the public, or our rights.
Business transfer — if the App or Vedep Mobi is transferred, merged, or sold, related information may move with it.
With your action — if you share a code, open a link, connect to Wi-Fi, or contact us.
History and settings remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the App.
Analytics and crash data are kept by Google Firebase according to Google’s retention settings and our project configuration.
Ad data is retained by advertising partners according to their own policies.
Support emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for legitimate record-keeping.
Turn off history: Settings → Save history.
Delete history: History screen → Clear history, or delete individual items.
Stop auto-copy: Settings → Auto copy to clipboard.
Remove local data: Android Settings → Apps → Qr Code & Barcode Scanner → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the App.
Reset advertising ID: Android Google Ads settings.
Revoke camera or other permissions: Android App permissions.
Request help with data we hold in support emails or analytics identifiers: email zarkarsopport@gmail.com .
Because scan history is stored on your device, we cannot remotely delete that local history. Clearing it on the device (or uninstalling) is the way to remove it.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the App. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for what you scan and generate. Do not scan untrusted codes, and do not store highly sensitive secrets in history if other people can use your device.
Android backup (if enabled on your device) may include app data according to your Google backup settings.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it from our records.
The App is not designed for use in the Google Play Designed for Families program as a children’s app.
The App may be used worldwide. Information processed by Google, advertising partners, and similar providers may be stored or processed in other countries, including the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal data, or to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise rights regarding data we control (such as support emails), contact zarkarsopport@gmail.com . For advertising and analytics data held by Google or other partners, you may also need to use those companies’ tools, because they independently process some data as described in their policies.
California residents: we do not “sell” personal information in the traditional sense. Some advertising disclosures may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under California law because ad identifiers are used for cross-context advertising. You can opt out of ads personalization using Android advertising settings and any in-app or system consent choices available to you.
The App can open websites, search results, maps, Wi-Fi networks, contacts, and other content encoded in a code. We do not control those third-party services. Their privacy practices apply once you leave the App. Scan only codes you trust.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes may also be noted in the Play Store listing or in the App.
