Common questions
The camera screen is black or says access is needed
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, find QR Scanner in the list, and turn on Camera.
A barcode will not scan
Hold the phone steady 4 to 8 inches away, fill the brackets with the code, and try the 2x zoom for small labels. Use the flashlight button in dim light. Wrinkled, glossy or faded labels can be hard to read.
How do I scan many labels quickly?
Tap the stack icon at the top of the scan screen to turn on batch mode. Each code is saved without stopping the camera.
Where are my scans?
In the History tab. They are stored only on your phone. You can search them, add notes, mark favorites and export them as a CSV file.
Does the app cost anything?
No. There are no ads, no purchases and no subscriptions.
Does it look up products from an FNSKU?
No. It reads the label and shows the code so you can confirm it scans and matches. Matching an FNSKU to a product is only possible inside your own Amazon Seller Central account.
