Privacy Policy for QR & Barcode Scanner: No Ads

The short version: this app does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any information about you.

What the app does with your data

- Camera: the camera is used only to read barcodes and QR codes. Images are processed on your device and are never saved or sent anywhere.

- Photos: if you choose a photo to scan, it is read on your device and is not uploaded or kept by the app.

- Scan history: codes you scan are saved only on your device so you can find them later. You can delete individual scans, clear the whole history, or turn history off in Settings. Deleting the app removes all of it.

- Settings: your preferences are stored only on your device.

What the app does not do

- No ads

- No analytics or tracking

- No accounts or sign-up

- No in-app purchases or subscriptions

- No data sent to us or to anyone else

The app makes no network connections of its own. We never see what you scan.

Links and other apps

When you tap an action such as Open Link, Search the Web or Search Amazon, the app hands that request to Safari or another app on your phone. From that point, the privacy policy of the website or app you opened applies.

Children

The app collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
