By downloading, installing, or using QR Code Generator (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.
QR Code Generator is a utility application that allows users to:
Scan QR codes and barcodes using the device camera
Create QR codes with various data types (text, URLs, contacts, Wi-Fi, phone numbers, SMS, email, events, locations)
Save and manage a history of scanned and created codes
Customize QR code designs (colors, styles, logos)
Export and share QR codes as images
Create or update contacts from vCard QR codes
Open URLs, place calls, send messages, and perform other actions from scanned codes
All processing occurs locally on your device. The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
No account creation is required.
All app data is stored locally on your device.
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the physical security of your device
All activities performed using the App on your device
Managing app permissions (camera, contacts, location, etc.) through your device settings
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if misuse, abuse, or security compromise is suspected.
You agree to use the App only for lawful and ethical purposes. You must not use the App to:
Create or distribute QR codes containing illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or violent content
Generate QR codes linking to phishing sites, malware, or malicious downloads
Infringe copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
Scan codes to access systems, networks, or data without authorization
Facilitate fraud, identity theft, or financial scams
Create misleading QR codes that misrepresent their destination or purpose
Circumvent security features or access controls
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
You retain ownership of the content you create or scan. JanoGroup LLC (“we,” “us”) and our licensors retain all rights to the App, including software, interfaces, designs, trademarks, and branding.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
Scan QR codes and barcodes
Create and customize QR codes
Save, export, and share QR code images
Use generated QR codes for personal or commercial purposes
You may not:
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App itself
Remove or alter proprietary notices
You are solely responsible for the QR codes you create and the data they contain. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the legality, safety, or accuracy of user-generated QR codes.
Scanned QR codes may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for external content, accuracy, security, or privacy practices.

A good-faith statement of authorization
A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate
Repeat infringers may have access restricted.
The App may display advertisements.
Currently, the App does not offer subscriptions or in-app purchases.
If paid features are introduced in the future, purchases will be handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.
QR codes may direct you to:
Malicious or phishing websites
Automatic downloads
Premium-rate phone numbers
Unauthorized Wi-Fi networks
Fraudulent payment requests
Always verify the source and preview links before taking action.
The App does not scan QR code content for malware, viruses, or malicious intent. You assume all risk when interacting with scanned content.
Damaged or low-quality codes may not scan
Extremely small or large codes may fail
Complex codes may take longer to process
Location accuracy depends on device GPS capabilities
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains on-device data handling and the use of third-party services for advertising and diagnostics.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JANOGROUP LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
Damages caused by malicious QR codes
Losses from phishing, fraud, or scams
Identity theft or data exposure
Device damage or data loss
Financial or reputational harm
TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS, IF ANY.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JanoGroup LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
Your use of the App
QR codes you create or distribute
Violations of these Terms or applicable law
Intellectual property infringement
Actions taken based on scanned QR code content
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under AAA Consumer Rules, conducted in Washington, DC or virtually, in English.
No class actions permitted
You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days by emailing janogroupllc@gmail.com with subject “Arbitration Opt-Out”
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse or violations. Upon termination, your license ends. Local data is removed when you uninstall the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via release notes. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger or sale.
