This Privacy Policy describes how QR Code Generator ("the app", "we", "our"), published by Revenue Bridge FZCO, handles information when you use it.
SUMMARY
QR Code Generator does not collect, transmit, or share any of the content you type or generate that stays on your device. The app does show ads, served by Google AdMob, which collects a limited set of technical/advertising data as described below.
INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
We do not collect, and the app does not transmit to us or any third party:
The text or URLs you enter to generate QR codes
- The QR code images you generate, save, or share
- Your name, email address, or any account information (the app has no account system)
- Your device's precise location
- Any analytics or usage tracking data
INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The app stores a local history of QR codes you have generated (the content you entered and the date/time) using standard on-device storage. This history never leaves your device, is not visible to us or any third party, can be cleared at any time from within the app (History - Clear all), and is removed automatically if you uninstall the app.
PERMISSIONS THE APP REQUESTS
Photo library / storage access - used only when you tap Save, to write the generated QR code image to your device's photo gallery. The app does not read, browse, or access any other photos on your device.
Sharing - when you tap Share, the app hands the QR code image to the share sheet provided by your operating system, which lets you choose which app to send it to. We do not see or store where you share it.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
This app uses Google AdMob to show ads (banner and interstitial ads). To serve and measure ads, AdMob and Google may collect and process: advertising identifiers (such as your device's Android Advertising ID), IP address and general (non-precise) location derived from it, device information (device type, OS version, language, screen size), and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, ad performance). This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us - we do not receive or store it ourselves. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). You can opt out of personalized advertising via your device's ad settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization). We do not use any other third-party analytics, crash reporting, or data-collection SDKs at this time.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The app does not knowingly collect information from children. The app is not directed at children, and ads served through AdMob are not configured to treat users as children (no child-directed treatment tag is applied). If this changes in the future, this policy and the app's AdMob configuration will be updated accordingly.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this app's data practices change (for example, if ads or cloud sync are added), this policy will be updated and the Last updated date above will reflect the change.
