-ITBS is completed for this year—answer sheets have been sent for scoring and results will be shared at parent/teacher conferences in November.
-This afternoon was the first day of the STEAM Afterschool Program for grades K-4. All went well and the kids had a great time. They will meet every Tuesday from now through December 9.
-Our annual fire drill with the Belleville Fire Department was this morning and we passed with flying colors—the firemen said the time and how quiet and cooperative all of our students were was impressive.
-In October we have:
-Living Rosary is tomorrow at 9 am
-Anointing of the Sick is Thursday, October 9 at 8:15 am. 4th grade will attend and reception is all set to go. Thank you Tyndal and the 4th grade parents!
-ESCAPE program for grades PK-4 on October 10
-One of our 2nd graders, Khali Jovanovic, will be baptized at this weekend’s 10 am mass, so we encourage all of our families to join us.
-No School on October 13 for Columbus Day.
-First Fall Fish Fry is Saturday October 18. Still open spots available to sign up to work a shift, esp. bussing and cleaning tables.
-End of the 1st quarter is October 20. The 5th grade will be taking the ACRE Religion Assessment today, too.
-Report Cards will be available on Facts after school on Wednesday, October 22. The Young Vincentians will also meet after school that day.
-Picture Re-take Day is Thursday, October 23.
-Trunk or Treat October 26
-PK 3, PK 4, K, and 1st grade go pumpkin picking on October 27.
-The first quarter honors assembly will be Wednesday, October 29 after mass. 1st Grade will make their first trip to All in 4 You this day, too.
-Halloween parties are October 30. 1:45-2:30 for PK3-4th grade and 2:30-3:00 for 5-8.
-There is no school on Friday, October 31 for the Diocesan Teacher’s Institute.
