SaeJune visited Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in Indonesia to attend a project workshop and deliver a lecture. Many thanks to Dr Ayodya Tenggara for organising a wonderful event. Look forward to hosting UGM academics in London very shortly.
The team led a stand at a faculty event 'A Night of Science and Engineering' and introduced one of our research themes on environmental monitoring. It was such a great team effort which was well received by attendees. Well done, Rashel and Jerry!

Park Lab has been awarded the QM ISPF ODA Grant in partnership with Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in Indonesia to form an international research team by delivering exploratory research on low-cost and 3D-printed future telecommunication devices. Many thanks to co-applicants at QMUL (Akram Alomainy, Riccardo Degl'Innocenti, and Henry Giddens) and project partners (Ayodya Tenggara and Rachmawan Budiarto) at UGM for their brilliant support.

Park Lab has been awarded a substantial grant (EPSRC NIA for 3 years) to push the boundary in THz biosensing applications using free-space/on-chip metamaterials. Many thanks to my colleagues at QMUL and project partners (Prof John Cunningham at the University of Leeds, Prof Mira Naftaly at the National Physical Laboratory, and Andy Blackhall at WRc Group) for their brilliant support. SaeJune visited the University of Wuppertal in Germany after his recent application for an EPSRC travel grant was successful (10 UK-based THz researchers were selected). SaeJune gave a talk at the UK and German THz collaboration workshop on the development of THz metasurface biosensors.

SaeJune visited Yonsei University in South Korea and gave an invited talk at the 14th Global Symposium on Millimeter-Waves & Terahertz on the development of THz metamaterial biosensors using free-space/on-chip THz spectroscopy.
SaeJune visited the University of Warwick and delivered a talk at the Terabotics Consortium Meeting.
New THz systems are on their way! We are aiming to complete installing free-space/on-chip THz systems with a fs fibre-laser in the Terahertz Laboratory as soon as possible. Also, there will be another fs laser moving in from the National Physical Laboratory. Huge thanks for this to Dr Mira Naftaly at NPL who is also a Visiting Professor at Queen Mary University of London.
2021
SaeJune has become a Visiting Research Fellow in the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Leeds, where he has a close collaborative relationship.
SaeJune has secured a UK Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) in Terahertz Electronics to lead the Terahertz Laboratory in the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London.
