Lecturer
Ambre Nicolle
Since 2022, I am an Assistant Professor (Akademische Rätin) at the Institute for Strategy, Technology and Organization LMU School of Management Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU), Germany.
Prior to joining LMU, I was an Assistant Professor at ENSAI (École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Analyse de l’Information) – CREST (Center for Research in Economics and Statistics). In 2018, I was awarded an incoming fellowship supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND action for my research project Consumer Behavior in Markets with Complex Pricing Strategies. I received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Montpellier (UM), in 2018.
Research
My research primarily focuses on the demand and supply sides in network and cultural industries. I use structural approaches and observational data to model consumer behavior. I also use various reduced-form approaches to comment on the development of prices and variety of products in markets subject to an evolving competitive, regulatory, and technological environment.
