Upcoming Teaching
Calculus 1 (Math 135), Summer session 2, 2026.
Applied Calc, with Touseef Haider. Office Hours: W 3:00-4:00 PM.
Recitation Sessions on Fridays. Location: Smith Hall 102. Time:
Session 1: 9:00-9:55
Session 2: 10:00-10:55
Session 3: 12:00-12:55
Session 4: 1:00-1:55
Session 5: 2:30-3:25
Kind but Important Remarks:
You should check which session you are in ASAP, onWebReg, NOT Canvas. Your course number will be of the form "..:0X:...", then X is your session number. You will need to know this for attendance and exams.
You should NOT attend the exam in another session. You should obtain my permission in advance if extreme conditions apply. Otherwise if you appear in another section you will likely lose your opportunity to take the exam due to limited space.
If you attend another session for an exam, you need to specify your original session number. Otherwise you will take full responsibility for missing a grade for the exam.
Each exam might have different total points, but the passing line is always 70%. You should calculate if you "passed" after each exam. This will give you an idea of whether you can pass eventually.
