Welcome to my homepage! My name is Qixuan Fang (方啓軒/方启轩). I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in mathematics at Rugters, The State University of New Jersey-Newark. My advisor is Yi-Zhi Huang.
I do research in mathematical physics. I am interested in the mathematical constructions of quantum field theories, especially conformal field theories, via the main approaches of vertex algebras, representation theory and tensor categories, and their interactions within different geometric settings. In particular, I am currently working on a vertex-operator-algebraic approach towards constructing non-linear sigma models and N=2 superconformal field theories on Calabi-Yau manifolds mathematically.
Here is a brief academic history of mine.
