About

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies (LMS), PolyU Business School, where I have the pleasure of merging my interests in optimization under uncertainty with my passion for logistics management and maritime studies.

Prior to my Ph.D. training in Operations Research from the National University of Singapore (NUS), I received a B.Sc. in Maritime Studies from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), where I developed a strong bond with the maritime industry, specifically in the areas of maritime logistics and ship finance.

Recruitment

I am looking for

• one PhD student in Shipping Finance (with a bachelor/master degree in shipping, finance, economics, applied math, or statistics);

• one PhD student in Operations & Logistics Management (with a bachelor/master degree in applied math, engineering, or computer science); and

• Research Assistant/Postdoctoral Fellows  in (i) quantitative finance and financial economics, and (ii) transportation engineering.
