Scholarship
Each spring, RAD Employees awards one or more scholarships. The purpose of the RADE scholarship is to encourage and support NOCCCD students whose activities have contributed to the advancement of LGBTQ+ causes while fostering a positive image of the LGBTQ+ community.
We seek to recognize and provide support for students who…
have assumed active leadership and/or supportive roles in the LGBTQ+ community in organizations such as LGBTQ+ student clubs, HIV/AIDS prevention and education programs, LGBTQ+ centers, or other relevant non-profit organizations, as well as participating in LGBTQ+ community organizing activities.
show academic promise in pursuing goals in postsecondary education.
We encourage all qualified candidates to apply regardless of sex, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, ability status, age, religious affiliation, etc. Students do not have to be LGBTQ+ to apply.
Please check back here every spring semester for an updated application.
