Use cable ties to securely fasten the timing chip at the bottom of either fork.
Be careful not to wrap cable ties through the spokes.
You may not get a reading if the timing transponder is placed higher on the fork, in your pocket, or on the handlebars.
Cut off excess cable ties for neatness and to prevent interference with spokes.
You MUST wear a number, which must not be cut or folded.
Backup timing relies on being able to read your number.
