Terms of Service – Qanetoon Academy

Welcome to Qanetoon Academy! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our online educational services, including Quran, Tajweed, Arabic Language, and Islamic Studies classes. By booking a free assessment or purchasing a package, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Qanetoon Academy provides live, 1-on-1 online educational sessions via internet communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet). We offer a free initial assessment to evaluate the student's level, followed by flexible paid learning packages.

2. Flexible Packages & Payments

We operate on a transparent, flexible Pay-As-You-Go model to ensure learning fits seamlessly into your schedule.

• No Expiration Date: Unlike traditional monthly subscriptions, the hours you purchase do not expire. You can use them at your own pace.

• Pricing & Discounts: Prices vary based on the subject and the number of hours purchased at once. Bulk purchases automatically receive discounted hourly rates.

• Payment Collection: Payments must be completed in advance before the scheduling of the purchased hours. We accept payments in USD, GBP, and EUR based on current exchange rates.

• Modifications: Qanetoon Academy reserves the right to change our base pricing or discount tiers at any time. However, any hours you have already purchased will remain valid and unaffected by future price increases.

3. Scheduling, Cancellations, and No-Shows

To respect the time of both our teachers and students, we have a strict scheduling policy:

• Scheduling: Class times are mutually agreed upon between the student and the administration/teacher.

• Cancellations & Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule a class, you must notify the administration or your teacher at least 12 hours in advance. If proper notice is given, the class will be rescheduled, and the hour will not be deducted from your package.

• Late Cancellations & No-Shows: If a student fails to attend a scheduled class without 12 hours' prior notice, the class will be marked as a "No-Show" and the duration of that class will be deducted from your purchased hours balance.

• Teacher Absence: If a teacher is unable to attend or has technical issues, the class will be fully compensated and rescheduled at no cost to your hour balance.

4. Refund Policy

We strive for 100% student satisfaction.

• If you are unsatisfied with your assigned teacher, please contact us. We will gladly assign you a new teacher.

• If you decide to stop learning entirely, you may request a refund for the unused hours in your package within 30 days of your original payment date.

• Any hours already completed, or No-Shows deducted due to late cancellation, are strictly non-refundable.

5. Code of Conduct & Islamic Etiquette

To maintain a professional and respectful learning environment:

• Dress Code: Both students and teachers are required to dress modestly and appropriately during video sessions, reflecting Islamic etiquette.

• Punctuality: Students are expected to be online and ready at the exact scheduled time. Teachers will wait for 15 minutes; if the student does not join within this window, it will be considered a No-Show.

• Respect: Any form of harassment, inappropriate language, or disrespectful behavior toward teachers or staff will result in immediate termination of services without a refund.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy. Any personal information, contact details, and student progress reports collected during the registration and learning process will be kept strictly confidential. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. Class recordings (if requested for educational purposes) will only be done with the explicit mutual consent of both the student/parent and the teacher.
